HASEGAWA 1/48 Kyushu J7W1 Local Fighter Shinden. HJT22 Shinden Released in July 2024
[Product Introduction]
HASEGAWA 1/48 Kyushu J7W1 Local Fighter Shinden. The Shinden was Japan's first canard-wing fighter developed to intercept heavy bombers. This method makes effective use of the space inside the aircraft and allows for a smaller fuselage size. Since the front wing can generate lift, the main wing can also be smaller, which is extremely effective in terms of weight and drag, and has many advantages in the development of high-speed fighter aircraft. Another major feature is that it can be equipped with large-caliber machine guns concentrated in the nose. Although great expectations were placed on the Shinden, it was not ready in time for actual combat, and the war ended after the first prototype made three 45-minute flights. Data Crew: 1 person Overall width: 11.11m Overall length: 9.76m Overall height: 3.92m Complete weight: 5272kg Engine: Mitsubishi "Ha43" 42 type Output: 2030 horsepower Maximum speed: 750km/h/8700m (planned value) Fixed armament: 30mm Machine gun x 4 First flight: 1945.8.3
