TAMIYA 1/32 Vought F4U-1 Corsair “Birdcage”. T60324 Corsair Released in July 2013
[Product Introduction]
TAMIYA 1/32 Vought F4U-1 Corsair “Birdcage”. Equipped with a high-output 2,000 horsepower class engine, a powerful propeller with a diameter of approximately 4 meters that can make full use of its power, and fearless inverted gull wings, it became the first American aircraft to fly horizontally in 1940, just before the Pacific War. This F4U Corsair attracted attention by breaking 400 miles per hour (approximately 640 km/h). The first mass-produced F4U-1, which featured a windshield with many frames called the "birdcage", was modeled based on detailed interviews with actual aircraft at five aviation museums in the United States and Canada. The P&W R-2800 engine is also finished with a sense of precision. The engine cowl can be removed even after completion.
