The Special Series Suzuya (1944) is now available with etched parts!
This is an unpainted kit that requires gluing and painting.
This 1/700 scale model does not include the bottom of the ship.
It is constructed using both the traditional (Special Series) mold and newly added mold parts.
?This model is based on the third Mogami-class ship, the Suzuya, during Operation Sho-Ichi-Go (Battle of Leyte Gulf) in October 1944.?Special parts are included to recreate the ship's hull cross-section, which differs from the Mogami/Mikuma, and the machine guns and radar that were modified based on wartime training at the start of the war.
?Includes two A6M Zero (three-seat) floatplanes and one A6M Zero floatplane observation.
?Decals include markings such as the naval ensign, national flag, and the Japanese flag used on aircraft carriers.
?The assembly instructions include a mini-explanatory guide that allows you to learn the names of equipment and information about the actual ship while you build.
?The packaging box includes a mini-box papercraft for storage after assembly.
