The Hiei from the Third Battle of the Solomon Islands is now available with etched parts!
For those who are not satisfied with the finished model as it is, or for those who want to achieve even more detail and pursue the delicate expression that cannot be achieved with a plastic kit, we have prepared etched parts.
No painting required: Each part is colored with its own molding color, and some parts are colored with stickers to match.
No glue required: The parts are designed to fit together for easy assembly.
The product is based on the ship's appearance from after the renovation in 1940 until the Third Battle of the Solomon Islands.
The bridge shape, which was the testbed for Yamato, is accurately recreated in three.
Dimensions.
The curved shape of the bow reproduces the modification made to improve wave-cutting performance, which was only done on the Hiei.
The bottom and hull parts are designed to be separate, allowing you to choose between a surface model and a full hull model.
The molding color is gray, which reproduces the color of the Kure Arsenal, the wooden deck is light beige, the linoleum deck is dark brown, and the funnel top is black.
