PLATZ/Italeri 1/48 US Navy Electronic Warfare Aircraft EA-18G Growler VAQ-138 Yellow Jackets. PLATZ TPA17 Released in July 2022
[Product introduction]
PLATZ/Italeri 1/48 US Navy Electronic Warfare Aircraft EA-18G Growler VAQ-138 Yellow Jackets. The 4th installment of America's latest electronic warfare aircraft, the EA-18G Growler 1/48 kit, is now available from PLATZ/Italeri, which is popular for its ease of construction. This kit selects markings from familiar aircraft in Japan. We have reproduced the markings of the VAQ-138 Yellow Jackets, an electronic warfare unit that was deployed to Misawa Base in Aomori Prefecture and attracted attention. The eye-catching markings on the tail are yellow jackets, a type of wasp. The decals are made by Cartograf, a company known for their high quality. The kit is made by Italeri and has a total length of 38.1cm, which is quite impressive. Of course, the instructions are in Japanese, making it easy to assemble. A masking sheet is also included, which is great for painting the canopy.
