PLATZ 1/72 Air Self-Defense Force F-15J Eagle 305th Squadron 40th Anniversary Painting Machine 'Umegumi Digital Camouflage'.
[About the actual aircraft]
The 305th Squadron performs air defense missions at Nittahara Air Base. The F-15J Eagle commemorative livery machine, which was released in March 2019 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its founding, is attracting a lot of attention with its unprecedented and innovative paint job. The key point is that it uses pixel-like digital camouflage, which is currently considered the latest style of camouflage. The image color of the troop, also known as ``Plum Group'' due to its troop mark, is skillfully arranged along with a large plum mark. These paintings also express the squadron's motto of "Strength, Speed, Beauty, and Honesty," and will continue to boost the morale of the 305th Squadron, which will continue to carry out air defense missions.
[About the model]
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of a special painted aircraft that appeared to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 305th Squadron. The colorful markings on the entire surface of the aircraft are realistically reproduced with large decals, including the unique digital camouflage that expresses a red gradation with a red, orange, and pink pixel pattern. Each decal is divided into parts to match the aircraft outline and air brakes, etc., and is designed to achieve both ease of application and a good finish. High-quality silk-screen printed decals with good coloring and no color show-through are made by the familiar Italian company Cartograf.
