It performs great on my Sony A850. This lens is made for a fullframe lens (or a film DSLR), so do not use it on an APS-C camera like the Sony A37 or a Canon EOS 650D or whatever APS-C model, because the crop factor (because of the smaller sensor) would turn this into the equivalent of a 23mm lens roughly. For an APS-C camera you can get a cheaper and more compact 15mm lens designed for APS-C to get the 22-24mm wide-angle result (as an 35mm equivalent) this lens would give on an APS-C camera.If you want a fisheye for an APS-camera, then get an 8mm lens designed for an APS-C camera.On my fullframe Sony, this lens performs fine, it sometimes seems to have a bit trouble focusing, so I switch to manual occasionally. This is probably caused by having a lot of different objects in the viewfinder. There is practically no vignetting (not dark or soft corners), in this respect the lens performs better than my Tokina 3.5-4.5 19-35mm extra wide lens.On the Sony A850 with its build-in image stabilization (please note: Canons and Nikons do NOT have this in the camera) this lens allows me to take free-hand night shots.I just love the lens. Please note I never owned or used another fisheye, so I cannot really compare it to another one.

I was actually skeptical that a 15mm Fisheye lens could offer much more than my current 16-35 Canon L series lens. I have to say that I was really impressed. The fisheye aspect to the lens allows it to capture so much more of the scene (nearly 180 degrees). The 2.8 f-stop is a huge bonus, and I have been impressed with the colors this lens captures. I usually see a big difference between my canon lenses and Sigma lenses... (based on a comparison of the Sigma f2.8 70-200, and the Canon f2.8 70-200) but will say that this lens is a high quality build.I really dislike the fact that the lens cap/cover does not fasten to the lens... this has caused the top to come off in my camera case once while I was removing gear and nearly caused me to drop the lens once... sheesh. However, the photos captured with the lens wont allow me to take off a star for that.

Absolutely love this lens and it's a great addition to my kit. It's fast, quiet and sharp. I've always loved the Sigma brand and this lens is no different. Colors are on point and it really is so much fun to shoot with this perspective.

Can't love this lens any more. It's just plain wonderful! Clear, sharp, great colors. The width of your photos is incredible. This will increase your creativity. The curve? Well in Lightroom you can remove the curve with just 1 click! Then just crop the photo as necessary as items closest to the edges will be stretched. I've gotten nice shots of the entire wedding ceremony, the whole church with all the guests, the venue inside and outside.

wow. i have a mark 3, and 5 L glass series lenses. kind of a red ring snob. but i really wanted something super wide and funky to use for personal stuff and didn't want to spend L glass money for a play lens. took a chance on this lens. blown away. it's razor sharp, build quality is good and it is just fantastic. i can't believe the images i get from it and am so glad i took a chance on a 3rd party lens...although, it will probably be the only one :P

I have never bought a third party lens before. So I figured I would give it a shot. I have some camera components from Sigma, so I trusted the name enough to buy a piece of glass. I mainly do landscape and city shots. I was looking for something wide. Even with a “fishy” look. Also just to add a fisheye to my collection. The images are sharp and clean. At f/2.8 it captures lots of light.15mm on a full frame looks amazing. I was careful not to capture my feet while grabbing some shots. The auto focus is quick but not lighting fast. The lens build is solid not a rattle or shake. It comes in a nice carrying case for safe storage. If you are looking into a fisheye lens and don’t want to spend the money Canon will shake you down for… I certainly recommend it.

This is my first fisheye lens. The lens is fantastic extreme wide angles and gives each picture a unique bit of quirkiness. Unlike most Fisheye lenses this is a diagonal version. A diagonal lets you shoot and the finished photo takes up the entire image (Does NOT have a black circle around it). This lens does have autofocus however I didn't find a need to use it. I use a Nikon D750 and find the color reproduction with this lens fantastic. It's a fun addition to my bag (especially for children).
