Beautiful bokeh and image quality for any scene. The 45mm F2.8 DG | Contemporary is particularly focused on bokeh expression. Spherical aberration is controlled to soften not only the bokeh in front of and behind the subject, but also the area close to the focal point, known as fine bokeh and small bokeh. Softening the edges of the bokeh suppresses double-line bokeh, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the subject with smooth depictions of the foreground and background. Furthermore, with a minimum focusing distance of 24cm, you can enjoy taking advantage of the angle of view even in snapshots and tabletop photography. In addition, the design takes vignetting into consideration, resulting in beautiful, round bokeh and suppressing the swirling effect of the overall bokeh.
