This large-aperture, ultra-wide-angle prime G lens boasts exceptional imaging power. Effectively positioning elements, including two Advanced Aspherical (AA) lenses, one Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element, and three ED glass elements, suppresses chromatic aberration and other aberrations, achieving high resolution performance from the center to the periphery. This lens is ideal for capturing dynamic compositions.
With an F1.8 maximum aperture and the unique bokeh effect of G lenses, the lens achieves the natural bokeh effect you expect from G lenses thanks to optimized spherical aberration. The 11-blade circular aperture allows you to capture point light sources in circular bokeh even when the aperture is slightly narrowed.
Outstanding Close-Up Performance: With a minimum focusing distance of 0.15m (AF) / 0.13m (MF) and a maximum magnification of 0.25x (AF) / 0.3x (MF), it offers excellent close-up shooting performance.
