The E3 Series 2000 series, which along with its successor the E8 Series, serves as the main vehicle on the Yamagata Shinkansen, is making a comeback with the new Yamagata Shinkansen "Tsubasa" paint color.

In combination with the separately sold [10-1969~1971 E5 Series Shinkansen "Hayabusa"] and [10-1967/1968 H5 Series Hokkaido Shinkansen "Hayabusa"], you can recreate coupled train scenes seen between Tokyo and Fukushima, just like the real thing.

The front headlight shape is different from that of the E3 Series 1000, and the window arrangement of cars 16 and 17, the enlarged side display, and the difference in the underfloor cover are accurately reproduced.
The car body is beautifully colored with motifs such as the Yamagata Prefecture bird, the mandarin duck, and the prefecture flower, the safflower.
The four symbolic marks representing the four seasons of Yamagata, which are painted on the sides of the car body of cars 11 and 16, are reproduced.
The red pantograph is reproduced according to the actual car.
The leading car E311 (car 11) toward Tokyo is equipped with a leading car coupling mechanism.
The head/tail lights are lit.
Car 11 (E311-2010) has a light-off switch.
The intermediate coupling section uses a diaphragm coupler.
The use of a slotless motor achieves smooth and quiet running.
The wheels use disc brakes on the side of the wheels, a characteristic of Shinkansen vehicles.
The side destination display is printed in solid black.
Destination display stickers are included.
