The 87 series "TWILIGHT EXPRESS Mizukaze," a cruise train that operates mainly within the JR West jurisdiction, has been redesigned and is now available as an affordable set.
You can enjoy it together with various vehicles that you can see all over Western Japan.
The train's body has a heavy feel but also features elegant lines, as well as its most distinctive feature, the observation deck, and the window arrangement with large side windows that give a sense of openness.
The car's dignified yet elegant lines, its most distinctive feature being the observation deck, and the window layout with its large, open side windows are all accurately recreated.
The interior views from the windows, including the observation room, lounge, dining car, and suites, are also accurately recreated.
The distinctive pattern on the wall of the dining car kitchen is also reproduced in print.
The passenger compartment is recreated in daytime mode with the doors open, allowing for views to both sides.
The exhaust pipes unique to diesel railcars, located on the end panels of cars 1, 5, 6, and 10, are reproduced as separate parts.
The color and luster of the actual train's "Mizukaze Green" and the elegant paintwork with gold stripes are reproduced.
Various logos, lettering, and signs are realistically reproduced in print.
A dedicated interior lighting panel is pre-installed.
