The M250 series Super Rail Cargo is Japan's only freight train.

One way to enjoy the loaded U50A container is to add a freight station plate and top lifter to your layout to recreate loading and unloading scenes.

The second and third M250 series trains are now available.
They carry the U50A container, which is shorter than the previous U54A.
The difference in the halo markings is also reproduced.
The car number and markings are pre-printed.
The intermediate cars, T260 and T261, are both reproduced without the JRF markings.
The Super Rail Cargo markings on the side of the car are beautifully reproduced.
The rooftop equipment, including lightning arresters and antennas, is accurately reproduced.
The couplers connecting the intermediate cars are equipped with KATO close-coupled couplers as standard.
