It's legit and it makes hunting on MH4U a bit easier. It's very confortable on the hands with the strange ergonomic design and the circle pad feels just like left circle pad. It only requires a quarter to screw open the battery compartment and it comes with a battery for you to insert it. The only drawback to the device it blocks the stylus and cartridge slots so you will have to remove the device in order to remove the stylus or remove/switch the cartridge, but it's not a big deal breaker. There is no reason to upgrade to the New 3DS.

Its just what i needed to play my 3ds. I have big hands and it is a pain to play games without some kind of grip. I also wanted another analog stick for my games. Its a good thing this item is comfortable to hold and play with.

It came home safe and seems to work perfectly so far. The CPP helps out so much when playing the Monster Hunter games. I have both 4U and Generations so I'm quite happy. My only gripe is that I wish that Nintendo could have made different colors. The CPP looks pretty ugly against the the other 3DS colors. Again I definitely recommend this product! :3

It's not the most comfortable attachment, but it works well enough for games that support it. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to try out Monster Hunter. Though, for anyone just looking for a grip attachment, I'd recommend the Hori stand over this.

I got this for a friend's birthday and he wanted to play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. It's so much better than without it that it's pretty much the same experience on the Wii U, just on the go.

I order three of these for Christmas: one for myself, one for my son, and one for my daughter. It turns out that my son has the latest 3DS model and didn't need this, and it isn't compatible with mine (it's too small). It does fit on my daughter's 3DS so at least it worked out with 1/3. This was likely my mistake for not knowing more details about the product before ordering and now I am stuck with two of these I can't use because by the time I ship them back for a refund, the money basically washes out. All in all it is a solid product and makes playing some of the newer games that rely on two joysticks on the 3DS much easier.
