This is a finished HO gauge model train from Tomix, the JR EF62 electric locomotive (2nd type, Tabata Depot).
? Reproduces the Tabata-based locomotive with finely meshed side louvers, inherited by JR and later fitted with a C' antenna on the front.
? The C' antenna on the front is reproduced as a separate part.
? Reproduces the modified taillights that were externally mounted.
? The roof monitor is reproduced in black.
? Selectable car number with metal transfer sheet included.
? Simple number plate included.
? Headlights light up with incandescent LEDs.
? Power terminals for maintenance are equipped inside the roof monitor.
? Equipped with a flywheel motor.
? All three axles of the EF62's characteristic three-axle bogie are driven.

Can pass through a minimum radius of R600 (excluding S-shaped curves) [About the actual train] The EF62 type is an electric locomotive that was created in 1963 for direct service on the Usui Pass section of the Shin'etsu Main Line, along with the EF63 type which is a helper locomotive for the pass section. The EF62 type inherited by JR belonged to the Tabata Depot and was equipped with an antenna on the front in later years and was active until the Usui Pass was abolished in 1997.
