An extension set for adding extra cars to the E5 Series Hayabusa train.

The model recreates the appearance of the train with some windows blocked off to accommodate the luggage storage area added to cars 1 through 9.

The anti-slip surface on the roof is reproduced with gray printing.
The car numbers are selectable and a transfer sheet is included.
This product (cars 3, 4, and 5) can be combined with product numbers 98497 and 98499 to reproduce a full 10-car train.
Equipped with movable gangway connections.
Equipped with movable pantographs.
Uses hook and U-shaped conductive couplers.
The movable gangway connections reproduce the black outer gangway connections used in the U28 train set and later.
Car number markings are pre-printed.
Uses a new current collection system and silver wheels.
