To commemorate the opening of the Yamanote Line, we have produced a model of the Tou 39 train set, which features a yellow-green wrapping on the front section that is reminiscent of the 103 series.

This product (cars 1, 5, 6, and 11) along with add-on sets A [98526] and B [98527] can be used to recreate a full 11-car train.

The product reproduces the appearance of the Tou 39 train set, which was decorated to resemble the 103 series that once operated on the Yamanote Line.

Car numbers are selectable and transfer sheets are included.
The front display section is interchangeable and comes with pre-printed parts.
The green glass on the front and sides is reproduced.
The JR mark is printed.
The headlights, taillights, and front display section light up with white LEDs.
The headlights, taillights, and front display section are equipped with a constant lighting circuit board and an ON-OFF switch.
New current collection system and black wheels are used.
Flywheel-equipped power unit and M-13 motor are used.

Batteries are not used even when running, lighting up, or illuminated.
