This product recreates the "Imperial Train No. 1" (Showa era specifications), which consists of the new No. 1 Imperial carriage, characterized by its deep, glossy dark red body, the Imperial Chrysanthemum emblem, and gold decorations in various places.

This product can be enjoyed in conjunction with other locomotive products that pulled imperial trains, such as the separately sold [2021-2 C11 190 Imperial Train] and [3038 EF58 61]

This product recreates the "Imperial Train No. 1", a five-car train set centered around the new No. 1 Imperial Carriage built in 1960.It reproduces the Showa-era specifications before the TR73 bogies of the escort cars No. 460 and 461 were modified in 1999.The fabric-covered parts of the roof are reproduced in dark gray (excluding the power room of escort car No. 460 and the Imperial Carriage).
The Imperial Carriage No. 1 beautifully expresses the deep and glossy body color and gold decorations.
The escort car No. 460 expresses the roof shape and the details of the underfloor equipment.
The escort cars No. 330 and 340 reproduce the delicate shapes of the roof antennas.
The taillights of escort cars No. 460 and 461 light up.
The garland-shaped ventilators on the roof are reproduced as separate parts.
The intermediate couplings of each car are equipped with KATO Coupler N JP as standard.
The locomotives of escort cars 460 and 461 are equipped with Arnold couplers as standard.
Dummy couplers with end beams are included.
A book-type case is used that can store 5 passenger cars and 1 locomotive.
