This model recreates the Kuha 165, which underwent front-end reinforcement and shield beam headlight modification, and the Salo 165, which was modified with unit windows.
We create separate models of newly built air-conditioned cars, cars that have been retrofitted with air conditioning, and cars that were originally air-conditioned but have been converted to air conditioning.
We also reproduce differences in ventilator placement and underfloor equipment.
This product recreates the K1 train set belonging to the Ogaki Train Depot around 1983 during the JNR (Japanese National Railways) era.
It reproduces the Kuha 165, which underwent front-end reinforcement and sealed-beam headlight modification, and the Salo 165, which underwent unit window modification.
It differentiates between newly built air-conditioned cars, air-conditioned cars, and former air-conditioning-ready cars that were later converted to air conditioning.
Differences in ventilator arrangement and underfloor equipment are reproduced.
The AU13 type cooler is reproduced with side louvers.
The pantographs are PS23 on car 2: Moha 164-84, and PS16 on car 6: Moha 164-828 and car 10: Moha 164-837, which have low roofs around the pantograph section.
The underfloor exterior of each car, equipped with a sewage treatment device, is reproduced.
The front display comes pre-installed with "(blank)"".
Express" and "Local (blue background)" are included for replacement.
The adoption of a slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running performance.
The motor car in the 4-car add-on set does not have traction tires, considering coupling.
The Kuha 165 has working headlights/taillights and front display (using white LEDs).
Each car has an on/off switch.
Each car uses a hookless body-mounted close-coupling coupler.
Two types of body mounts that can be attached to the front are included.
Destination display stickers are included.
