This model recreates the Ohanev 24-100 type, which was used on the Akebono and Nihonkai lines and featured a reduced-size conductor's compartment window.

A new vehicle was manufactured with a body that lacks stripe engraving, featuring a reduced-size conductor's compartment window and a smoothed emergency exit area.

This product is licensed by JR East to reproduce the Ohanev 25-100 type from the Aomori Rail Center that operated on the Akebono and Nihonkai lines.
The conductor's compartment window has been reduced in size and the emergency exit area has been smoothly finished, and the car body has been newly manufactured without engraved stripes.
There is no train mark printing and no light board.
The radio antenna is a separate part (included in each set, or use JA0040 sold separately).
The bed is reproduced in light gray.
The JR mark is printed.
The H-rubber is reproduced in black.
The car number is selectable and uses a transfer sheet (included in each set).
