A new Kuroha 288 was manufactured, featuring a modified roof and undercarriage due to the removal of AC equipment, and a half-compartment Green Car.

The FG408 (basic set) and FH302 (add-on set) trains from the Suita General Rolling Stock Center Fukuchiyama Branch are now available as models.
The simplified roof equipment and reduced piping around the pantographs, with the AC equipment removed, are reproduced.
The undercarriage, with the equipment in the central part of the car body removed, is also reproduced.
The Kuroha 288 is a half-compartment Green Car, and the body and interior with the changed window arrangement are reproduced.
