How about a traditional open sports car? The MGB made a spectacular debut at the 1962 London Motor Show and was a huge hit and long-selling car, selling approximately 520,000 units until production ended 18 years later on October 22, 1980.While the basic body shape, chassis, and engine remained largely unchanged throughout the model's 18-year lifespan, the interior evolved year after year through repeated improvements.
Therefore, even if two models appear to be the same at first glance, it is possible to identify their model year down to the month by simply looking at the exterior, interior, and engine bay.
