[An innovative 6-wheeled machine that will make its mark in history]
The Tyrell P34 was announced on September 22, 1975 as the first 6-wheeled car in F1 history, causing a sensation. The unique tire arrangement of four wheels in the front and two wheels in the rear was designed with the three goals of reducing air resistance, improving braking performance, and improving maneuverability. However, other than the four front wheels, it has an extremely orthodox configuration, including a suspension attached to a triangular cross-section frame and a highly reliable Ford V-8 engine. By employing a mechanism with a proven track record and well-understood properties, we were able to achieve speedy and reliable development. The actual race type, which underwent various improvements through testing after its release, made its debut at the Spanish Grand Prix on May 2, 1976, driven by Patrick Depailler. On June 13th of the same year, Jody Scheckter won the seventh round, the Swedish Grand Prix, and Depailler came in second, proving that the four-wheel front idea was fully effective. Furthermore, in that year's constructors' championship, it finished third overall behind Ferrari and McLaren. The Tyrell P34, which uses a four-wheel front system, is an innovative machine that will remain in F1 history.

The air funnel is made of aluminum cutting. The four front wheels are linked to the steering wheel using a rack and pinion steering system similar to the real car. The complex mechanism is a lot of fun to make. The cockpit has photo-etched parts on the seatbelt buckles and the surfaces of the accelerator, brake, and clutch pedals to enhance the sense of precision. In addition to the front lip spoiler, thin stays for fixing to the front wing are also available as photo-etched parts. The front and side cockpit cowlings are removable.
