The base models are the iconic digital model GM-5600 with a metal bezel and the analog-digital combination model GM-2100.
Aiming for a coexistence of simplicity and functional beauty, achromatic color scheme is used.
The metal octagonal bezel, which symbolizes the shock resistance of G-SHOCK, features a checkering pattern that is also commonly seen in modern industrial design.
The metal bezel and the red accent color marking the function indicators express the watch's rich functionality.
The cutout holes in the bezel reveal the glass fiber reinforced resin center case that protects the module and provides a visual indication of the shock resistance.
The GM-5600BM and GM-2100BM have a black IP finish applied to all parts except the top of the bezel, giving the bezel a sense of depth and a firm look, resulting in a chic appearance.
