Description (1,168 characters)
This is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.
Tools, paint, etc. are required separately.
Product Description: This is a Hasegawa "1/48 scale US Army Air Corps P-39Q/N Airacobra" plastic model.
The Airacobra was a fighter aircraft of the US Army Air Corps.
It featured an innovative midship design, with the engine located near the center of gravity of the fuselage to reduce the moment of inertia and improve maneuverability.
Because the engine was located in the center of the fuselage, the propeller was driven by an extended shaft.
The propeller shaft could also be equipped with a large-caliber 37mm or 20mm cannon.
The nosewheel could be stored in the empty space in the nose, resulting in a tricycle landing gear, giving the Airacobra its unique style.
This is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.
Additional adhesives, tools, and paints are required for assembly and painting.
