Product Introduction: The band's 50th single, "Anthropos," is the opening theme for the anime "Megumi no Daigo: Savior's Orange," which airs every Saturday at 5:30 PM on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. Based on the popular manga of the same name serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine, the current series tells the passionate story of a young firefighter's growth. The theme song, "Anthropos," was written and composed by the hit-making artist Kitani Tatsuya. "Anthropos" is a Greek word meaning "one who looks up" (human), and the song depicts an episode in which the protagonist, Daigo Toake, places his hand on the faces of people rescued from disasters and other disasters, encouraging them to look up just a little. While their methods are different from those of the protagonists, Kanjani Eight also sing passionately, hoping to help lift someone's head when they're hurting.
