Product Introduction: The moving true story behind the long-awaited gold medal at the Nagano Olympics. This film is based on the untold true story of the test jumpers who supported the Japanese ski jumping team's gold medal victory at the 1998 Nagano Olympics. Kei Tanaka stars in the film. The Japanese national team, known as the "Hinomaru Squadron," was aiming for the coveted gold medal. One man watched the jumps of their key athlete, Masahiko Harada, with a special feeling: former Japanese national team member Jinya Nishikata (Kei Tanaka). Having narrowly missed out on a silver medal in the previous Olympic team competition due to Harada's mistake, Nishikata vowed to exact revenge in Nagano. However, four years later, his wish was not fulfilled, and he reluctantly became a behind-the-scenes test jumper. On the day of the team competition, Japan surprisingly placed fourth in their first jump. They hoped to make a comeback in their second jump, but a heavy snowstorm forced the competition to be suspended. If things continued as they were, they would miss out on a medal. The fate of the 25 test jumpers, including Nishikata, was entrusted to their task. The judges' decision was that the competition would resume if all the jumpers successfully completed their jumps despite the bad weather. Behind the glory that everyone knows, there was a battle between 25 people that no one knew about.
