Combines high image quality comparable to the Art Line with a compact design. The lens was designed with the assumption that peripheral illumination and distortion would be corrected using in-camera correction functions, achieving a compact size. The use of SLD glass not only achieves a compact size, but also effectively corrects axial chromatic aberration, which is difficult to correct with image processing.
