Released September 2025
Beautiful image quality, bokeh, and the ability to get closer to your subject. A wide-angle lens for versatile use in any scene. Mount: Leica Camera L-Mount standard. Focal length: 24mm. Maximum aperture: f/3.5. Filter size: 55mm. Contemporary line / [AF24MMF35DGSLL]AF24MMF35DGSLL Released September 2025
Beautiful image quality and bokeh for any scene. The 24mm f/3.5 DG | Contemporary lens delivers high resolution from the center to the edges of the frame, allowing you to enjoy wide-angle photography that makes the most of the 24mm angle of view. With a minimum focusing distance of approximately 10cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2, you can enjoy a wide range of shots, from distant landscapes to close-ups on tabletops. In addition to beautiful, natural bokeh, it also produces nearly circular bokeh even at the edges of the frame, allowing you to get close to the subject while blurring the background, making it useful for a variety of scenes, from tabletop photos to snapshots. The latest optical design technology optimized for mirrorless systems, advanced processing technology, and the appropriate use of high-precision glass-molded aspherical lenses, along with SLD and high-refractive index glass, achieve both high optical performance and a compact design. Furthermore, the quiet, high-speed stepping motor provides smooth focus operation, making it ideal for video recording.
Multiple High-Precision Glass-Molded Aspherical Lenses: The surface of the glass-molded mold, which is formed by pressing glass material at high temperatures, requires extremely high precision. Sigma uses high-precision molds that control the surface to an accuracy of less than ±5 nanometers (0.000005 mm). The high-precision glass-molded aspherical lenses achieve excellent correction of various aberrations while allowing for a compact lens design.
I Series Build Quality: The lens features a metal exterior consistent with the series. The machined aluminum parts are not only beautiful, but also contribute to the product's high quality, providing a solid sense of rigidity and high durability. Furthermore, the operating ring and sliding internal structure are also made of metal. The high-precision parts, made possible by the advanced metalworking technology backed by the Sigma CINE LENS, a professional-grade lens designed specifically for video, create an exquisite texture in each control that will make you want to use it again and again. Considering use in combination with the 45mm F2.8 DG | Contemporary, the filter size is the same φ55mm. The outer diameter and overall length are also nearly identical. The combined weight of the 45mm F2.8 DG | Contemporary and the 45mm F2.8 DG | Contemporary is just 440 grams. Combining the two lenses creates a high-spec, compact shooting system that can handle a variety of shooting situations. Magnetic Metal Cap: In addition to the standard plastic cap, I Series lenses come with a dedicated magnetic metal cap. This dedicated cap is magnetic and fits snugly onto the front of the lens. When using and carrying the I Series, this cap is as essential as the lens body. With this in mind, we carefully considered everything from the magnetic mechanism to the design. It is no exaggeration to say that this cap is the finishing touch to the I Series. [Accessories] Lens hood, magnetic metal cap, front cap, rear cap ■ Specifications ■ Compatible mount: L mount Sensor format: Full-frame Number of lens elements: 10 elements in 8 groups (1 SLD, 3 aspherical lenses) Angle of view: 84.1° Number of aperture blades: 7 (circular aperture) Minimum aperture: F22 Minimum focusing distance: 10.8cm Maximum magnification ratio: 1:2 Filter size: φ55mm Maximum diameter x length: φ64mm x 48.8mm *Length is the distance from the tip of the lens to the mount surface.
