The latest optical design, taking into account the camera's optical correction function and a short flange focal distance, optimizes the lens construction, achieving both high optical performance and a compact design. The two large-diameter aspherical lenses at the front contribute to the overall compactness of the lens and its high optical performance. The optimal placement of five FLD glass elements, which have the same properties as fluorite, effectively suppresses lateral chromatic aberration and axial chromatic aberration, which are particularly problematic in ultra-wide-angle lenses. When photographing landscapes and architecture, which are often favored by ultra-wide-angle lenses, you can enjoy consistently sharp images from the center to the edges and beautiful bokeh. Furthermore, close-up shots take advantage of the background bokeh unique to the F2.8 aperture, creating a three-dimensional image.
