Dual HLA: The lens employs a dual HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) system, in which each focus group is driven by a linear motor, HLA. Each motor is configured with multiple magnets, allowing for a compact focus unit while maintaining high thrust. This not only achieves a significant weight reduction compared to conventional cam-driven lenses, but also enables fast, quiet AF shooting.
