This lens covers the mid-telephoto range often used for portraits with a constant F2.8 aperture. With a zoom range that includes the 85mm and 105mm focal lengths commonly used for portrait photography, this single lens can handle everything from expansive landscapes to portraits. The constant F2.8 aperture throughout the entire zoom range allows for beautiful, large bokeh effects and allows for one-stop faster shutter speeds, making it suitable for a wider range of shooting scenarios.
Excellent close-up capabilities for telemacro photography. A minimum focusing distance of just 40cm is achieved throughout the entire zoom range. At 105mm, close-up photography with a maximum magnification of 1:3.1 is possible.
