The SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports is a 10x super-telephoto zoom lens exclusively for full-frame mirrorless cameras, covering the 60-600mm zoom range only available from SIGMA. When photographing air shows or sports, you can seamlessly capture scenes from close to long distances with just one lens. Stable, High-Quality Optical Performance Across the Entire Zoom Range: To fully utilize the wide 60-600mm zoom range, this lens pursues optical performance throughout the entire zoom range. The latest optical design effectively utilizes various glass materials, including FLD and SLD glass, to effectively correct chromatic aberration, which is common in the ultra-telephoto range. Capture every moment with uncompromising, high-quality imagery across the 60-600mm wide-angle shooting range. With a minimum focusing distance of 45cm at the wide-angle end and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.4 at a focal length of 200mm, it can also be used for telephoto macro photography. The newly developed "HLA" motor ensures you never miss a decisive moment. The newly developed "HLA (High-response Linear Actuator)" high-speed AF actuator employs a high-output linear motor and advanced electronic control to achieve unprecedented speed, precision, and quiet AF. Its excellent focus tracking performance ensures you'll never miss a decisive moment, even when photographing fast-moving sports, vehicles, birds, and other subjects. The newly developed "OS2" image stabilization algorithm provides up to 7 stops of compensation. The OS (Optical Stabilizer) mechanism employs the newly developed "OS2" algorithm. This significantly improves image stabilization performance, achieving 7 stops of compensation at the wide-angle end and 6 stops at the telephoto end. It captures dynamic, dynamic moments. Two image stabilization modes are available: Mode 1, ideal for general photography, and Mode 2, ideal for panning shots such as motorsports. Mode 2 utilizes the accelerometer and the Intelligent OS algorithm, specifically designed for panning. Regardless of the horizontal or vertical orientation of the composition, image stabilization is effective even when the camera is moved up, down, or diagonally, capturing the movement of the subject without compromising the effect of panning. A lightweight, robust multi-material structure utilizes a "multi-material" structure, optimally placing materials such as magnesium, CFRP, and TSC in various locations, taking into account the characteristics of each material. The front of the lens is coated with a water-repellent and dirt-resistant coating, making maintenance easy in the event of water or dust buildup. *This construction is dust- and weather-resistant, but not waterproof.
Comprehensive Customization: The Focus Limiter Switch limits the focus range during AF as needed, enabling faster focusing. Three AFL buttons allow you to assign settings directly to the camera. It is easy to operate in any position or setting.
