Just like the real thing, the model can be used for shunting operations, as well as freight trains, passenger trains, and mixed trains running on short distances.
Combined with its passing ability with a minimum radius of R150, it is ideal for operation in small layouts and small spaces.
This model reproduces the form of the 14th and 15th series (No. 203 to No. 264) manufactured between 1964 and 1966, and the non-multiple-headed type of the high-horsepower group from around 1975.
This model recreates the 14th and 15th series (No. 203-264) manufactured between 1964 and 1966, as well as the non-multiple-headed configuration of the high-horsepower group around 1975.It recreates the modernized appearance of later models with dual-laminated shield beams and wing-spring bogies.
Features such as the increased-capacity fuel tank and the corresponding repositioned main air reservoir are realistically reproduced.
Signal flares and whistles are included.
H-rubbers are gray.
Selectable license plates: "211", "225", "248", "257"; selectable manufacturer's plates: "Mitsubishi" and "Kissha Kaisha"
