The Agano was a light cruiser completed in 1942.Built as the flagship of a torpedo squadron, it combined the agility to attack and harass the enemy before the main force of allies, with the offensive power of oxygen torpedoes capable of striking the enemy from long distances at high speed.
This kit features 48 newly molded plastic parts, bringing the Agano-class flagship to life.
Differences from the Yahagi, such as the funnel, flight deck, bridge components, aft bridge, searchlight, Type 1 Type 2, No. 11 catapult, and torpedo tubes without mantlets, are clearly and precisely recreated.
Two A6M Zero three-seater floatplanes are included.
A display stand is included.
The sleek and simple Agano's unique, majestic form is recreated.
It offers a different look from the Yahagi Ten-Ichi-Go operation, with its enhanced anti-aircraft armament.
