The reason why I proposed a "spinner" instead of the small size spoons that have become the mainstream of metal trout lures in recent years is because I often hear anglers say things like, ``I like spinners because they catch a lot of fish, but the line twists...'' and ``I'm not satisfied with the simple body construction...'' and I want to respond to anglers who say, ``I don't get many things that I like.'' Weaknesses of spinners and a form that is not found in commercially available products. And with ease of use in mind, we created it as a Smith original. That is the fish body spinner "Near Kiss".
