The Kwantung Army is a military unit whose predecessor was the security forces of China's Kwantung Province (the tip of the Liaodong Peninsula) and the South Manchurian Railway (Mantetsu), which inherited the interests of the Russian Empire following the victory in the Russo-Japanese War. For a while after the unit was established, it was a small organization, but after that, the unit was expanded and strengthened many times, and at its peak strength, it had a strength of just under 800,000 soldiers. In the Nomonhan Incident, this Kwantung Army subordinated unit played a central role, and more than 20,000 soldiers engaged in a fierce battle against the Soviet Army. The kit reproduces a soldier in battle wearing the Showa 5 style military uniform that was still often seen during the Nomonhan incident. The figure body is a new mold. Reproduces an infantryman wearing a Showa 5th style military uniform with a stand-up collar. As it was common military equipment at the time, it can be used in a wide range of situations. The body is sculpted to be approximately 160cm, which was the average height during the war. Military uniforms are measured from actual items in our company's collection. Gaiters are also accurately reproduced. The rifle, iron cap (helmet), etc. are common parts with the FM37 infantry marching set, and are precisely reproduced using a laser processing machine.
