This lens retains the same size as the original smc PENTAX-FA35mmF2AL, a new design that matches the latest models. The new design is compatible with the latest DA and D FA lenses, making it a compact prime lens that matches well with K-series digital SLR cameras. The aperture ring remains, allowing you to use the functions of older K-mount digital SLR cameras and film SLR cameras, enabling you to enjoy photography with a wide range of models. This easy-to-use standard lens provides a semi-wide-angle of 35mm on full-frame cameras and a standard angle of view equivalent to 53.5mm in APS-C format. This standard lens captures a field of view close to the human eye's natural field of view, making it an ideal everyday lens for a variety of subjects, including snapshots, landscapes, and portraits.
