Catch the big scratched fish! The cushioning performance that absorbs scratches makes a momentary victory a reality. Using ``Plasmarise,'' a new technology that can ``modify'' the surface condition of materials at will, a ``special polymer layer'' is formed on the surface of fluorocarbon that has rubber-like cushioning properties and absorbs impacts and scratches. We gave form to Minoru Matsuda's idea that ``If the surface of the Harris is rubber-like, it will not be damaged even if it is swallowed by a sedge or a long tail.'' ■Traditional Kuroshio color that disappears under the sea ■Special polymer layer absorbs "scratches"
