Love this watch. Had one just like it in Afghanistan, but that watch had a battery and when I had to replace the person putting it in didn't properly seal it and moisture eventually destroyed. This watch being solar makes me feel like ill have it for many years to come.

It came from Japan (from what I can tell, but the watch is made in China) Display is better (clearer than my earlier DW-5600e-1V).Some very nice features especially the auto light and power save (auto shut off during low power only during certain times of the day). Would have been 5 star if the price was $30 cheaper than the $166 I paid. The bio luminescence on the dw-5600e-1v is actually better than this model. Overall a great everyday watch with some cool features.
