Since the brand's birth in 1995, Casio's PRO TREK series of outdoor watches has evolved with the support of many outdoor enthusiasts, including professional climbers and mountain guides.
PRO TREK is specialized for active outdoor scenes. There are three major features of PRO TREK watches.
1, Tough Solar
The solar recharging system introduced in the previous section. Since power is generated by light, external recharging is semi-permanently unnecessary.
2, Triple sensor
Three small sensors measure direction, atmospheric pressure/altitude, and temperature; improvements have been made since its birth in 1994, and the third generation is currently installed.
3, Multi-band 6
The watch always keeps track of "Japan Standard Time" generated by a cesium atomic clock, which has an error rate of approximately 1 second in 100,000 years. In addition, it receives highly sensitive standard radio waves from six stations around the world, including Japan (Fukushima and Kyushu stations), China, North America, the United Kingdom, and Germany, and automatically corrects the time even when abroad.
