The BAe Sea Harrier FRS Mk.1 is the Royal Navy's only fixed-wing carrier-based aircraft with all-weather combat attack capability. The Sea Harrier is a version of the Air Force's vertical take-off and landing aircraft, the Harrier, developed for use on ships, with a cockpit that is 28 cm higher.
