TAMIYA 1/35 Japanese Army Type 1 Artillery Tank (comes with 6 figures). The Type 1 artillery tank was officially called the Type 1 7cm semi-self-propelled gun, and was given the secret name Honi Kuruma Type 1 (Honi 1). This Type 1 artillery tank was built on the chassis of the Type 97 medium tank, which was the main battle tank of the Japanese Army at the time, with an open-top battle compartment and was equipped with a powerful 75mm gun that was an improvement on the Type 90 field gun. Production began in the latter half of 1945, and 138 vehicles were produced by the end of the war. It is said that a Type 1 tank assigned to a mobile artillery regiment in a tank division fought deadly battles in the Philippines and elsewhere against the superior American military.
