[Product introduction]
TAMIYA 1/35 MM M3A1 scout car. Approximately 3,000 vehicles were supplied to the Soviet Union from the United States, and the "M3A1 Scout Car" was used on various fronts. The open-top armored vehicle is modeled together with a tense figure. The "M3A1 Scout Car" began production in 1939 as a reconnaissance vehicle for the U.S. Army. It is equipped with an 87 horsepower engine in the four-wheel drive suspension, and is armed with one 12.7mm M2 heavy machine gun and one or two 7.62mm M1919 machine guns. It could carry eight soldiers, including one driver, and was used for a variety of missions such as reconnaissance, liaison, and towing artillery. This vehicle was used by the U.S. military in North Africa and the Sicily front, but it was the Soviet military that put it into action in the largest quantity. Approximately 3,000 M3A1s were sent from the United States to the Soviet Union and remained active until the fall of Berlin. A 1/35 scale model of the M3A1 scout car that was widely used by Allied forces in various countries. This is an indispensable vehicle that was operated throughout World War II. Realistic model based on actual vehicle coverage at the Saumur Museum in France. The suspension, including the leaf spring suspension and drive shaft, and the inside of the battle compartment are also sharply reproduced. The 12.7mm heavy machine gun and 7.62mm machine gun are also precisely finished. A total of 5 figures are included, including 4 dynamic crew soldiers and 1 driver. Includes a total of 3 types of decals: 2 types of Soviet troops from 1945 and 1 type of US army from the 1943 summer invasion of Sicily. Total length 161mm. Faithfully reproduces the car body composed of flat surfaces. Also pay attention to the rivet mold that further enhances the rustic impression. The set includes 4 soldiers wearing winter clothing and guarding their surroundings with a machine gun or handgun in hand, and 1 driver. The sense of urgency of the forced reconnaissance is conveyed through his facial expressions. The 12.7mm heavy machine gun and 7.62mm machine gun also have a sharp finish. Even the bullet feeding belt has been reproduced to create a sense of realism. The inside of the open-top battle compartment and the rail that runs around the inside of the vehicle are also a highlight. The machine gun moves along the rail. The armored louvers on the engine grill and the armored covers on the front and sides of the cockpit can be opened or closed. The 4-wheel drive suspension, including the leaf spring suspension and drive shaft, also has ample three-dimensional feel. Also includes US military specification markings. You can enjoy the camouflage painting and impressive nationality mark.
