Commercialization of 485 series 1500 generation wearing Kaminutari color
The car number of the T5 formation belonging to the Kaminutari driving area has been printed.

The 485 series was introduced in 1968 as a limited express vehicle that was compatible with three power sources: DC and AC 50/60Hz, and was used in electrified sections across the country.
"Hakutaka" is a limited express train that began operating in 1997 when the Hokuhoku Line of Hokuetsu Express opened.
Some of the cars painted in Kaminutari color have had their interiors upgraded and their passenger windows enlarged vertically.
All of the T5 formations placed in the Kaminutari driving area were upgraded, and were also used for the Hakutaka train as a formation capable of running on the Hokuetsu Express Hokuhoku Line.
High grade (HG) specification
The body color is white with a blue and green belt around the waist to reproduce the Kaminutari-colored appearance.

The printed train mark is equipped with "Hakutaka" and "Raicho" is included.

The train mark uses a color prism and lights up in a color close to white.

The driver's cab side of the first car is equipped with a dummy coupler with a coupler cover.
Each connection side is equipped with a TN coupler (SP) with piping as standard.
