The aircraft carrier "Shinano"
was initially laid down at the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal in 1945 as the third battleship Yamato-class battleship.
Due to the loss of the main aircraft carrier during the Battle of Midway in 1945, Shinano, which was under construction, changed its plan as an aircraft carrier.
Due to the defeat of the Battle of the Philippine Sea in 1945, Yokosuka became an air raid area, hurried construction for a round trip to Kure, and completed as an aircraft carrier in November.
In the same month, on its first voyage to Kure, it sank 100 kilometers off Shionomisaki due to a lightning strike by a U.S. submarine, and was the largest aircraft carrier of the Japanese Navy lost in just 10 days.
The product is based on the motif of the completion in November 1945, and is three-dimensionalized with a completely new design and new mold in 2017.
The carrier-based aircraft comes with the planned format
The bottom / hull parts are separated by the water line, and both offshore models and full hull models can be manufactured.
In the real thing, it is a sister ship Yamato and Musashi, but it is characterized by using special parts instead of sharing parts to express the difference.
The hull is split left and right, and the arrangement around the bow bell mouth is reproduced with correct verification.
The anti-submarine camouflage paint on the side is divided into color plastic parts and partly expressed by a sealing material with excellent followability.
The portholes lined up on the side reproduce the difference in shape between blocked and unblocked with delicate engraving.
Ship bottom parts reproduce bulge shape different from Yamato
There are two types of rudders, a round shape with the same shape as the conventional Yamato, and a round shape with the same type as the aircraft carrier Taiho, which has been said in recent years.
Flight deck consists of 2 pieces
Parts are divided at the deck and outer edge of the concrete floor, making it the best shape for painting expression.
The bridge is made into an integrated part by using a slide mold.
Realistic modeling with detailed sculptural expression on all four sides
The shape of the chimney and the structure near the deck of the rear short boat are three-dimensionalized based on recent materials and evidence.
You can finish with an offshore model / full hull model by selecting the installation of this part.
The high-angle turret has a strip pattern, and the hangar wall has a monkey rattal.
Four types of carrier-based aircraft are included: "Shiden Kai,"
"Ryusei,"
"Ayakumo,"
and "Sakurahana."
Shiden Kai comes with two colors, a general dark green color and an orange color that imitates the trial Shiden Kai II.
For meteor, iridescence, and Shiden Kai, the legs are integrally molded, and separate parts for the legs are also available.
The foldable wireless antenna support is foldable, and the appearance at the time of departure can be reproduced.
The attached sticker contains the anti-submarine camouflage parts on both sides and the white line on the flight deck, so that you can express colors without painting.
Separately from the sticker, a decal containing the white line on the flight deck and the Hinomaru on board is included for painting finish.
Adhesive "horizontal binoculars"
