Standard instructions are i Japanese language. They send along a summary in English. The pictures of the watch and operations are so blurred you cannot make them out. Attempted to charge the watch battery per instructions; in window for 24 hours. Tried to set time etc. and within 10 minutes the battery was exhausted. The English instructions are very poor and inadequate for the average person. Specific operations to "set" are left out or missing. S ave your money.

Despite the warnings of the delay in delivery, the watch arrived very quickly (within a few days), well packed and in perfect condition. Although it had been in the box, it set itself within a minute of being opened and being exposed to the light. I had to download an English version of the operating instructions (as a Japanese import, they're in Kanji, and my translation skills aren't that good), but that wasn't particularly problematic. My wife really likes it, and her friend got me to buy one for her as well. The resin wristband has a slight mother of pearl sheen to it, which seems to complement the metal surround of the watch. I've had a version of the Waveceptor for over 15 years, and it's kept perfect time and never needed any kind of repair or service - although this one is more delicate (being a ladies watch), I have high hopes that this one will work likewise. Would recommend it at the price (around £50) as similar watches by other makers are three figures in cost.
