Released in December 2009
Modeled the Honda RC166 GP racer to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Honda GP participation. TB113RC166GP Released in December 2009
[Product Introduction]
Honda RC166 GP RACERThe 1/12 motorcycle series that started in 1981 has released commercially available cars that were popular in that era and racers that achieved good results. I did. However, there are many famous cars that remain in history even before that. Among them, this time, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Honda GP participation, we have modeled the Honda RC166 GP racer. The RC166 achieved 10 wins in 10 races in the 1966 World Road Race GP 250cc class, and became the driving force behind Honda's domination of all five classes that year. The RC166 had a displacement of 250cc, but had an extremely sophisticated mechanism with a parallel 6-cylinder DOHC 4-valve system. The machine was recreated using the latest mold technology. The tires are made of solid rubber that realistically reproduces the triangular cross-sectional shape that was characteristic of the 1960s. The long cowling from front to back can be removed even after completion. Rivets are inlet marks
■Package
■Handlebar accelerator, brake wires, etc. are expressed with vinyl pipes. The handle grip rubber is made of textured elastomer resin.
■Wheel The wheel is made of ABS resin with the spoke part reproduced with a diameter of 0.4mm. Matte plated parts made up of 9 parts each for the front and rear.
■Seat The sheet is made of elastomer resin with a textured feel. Rivets are reproduced with inlet marks.
■Under cover The covers at the bottom of the cowl can be easily attached and detached using magnets.
■Step The step is made of machined aluminum. It is fixed to the frame with 1.2mm screws and has sufficient strength even when used as a stand.
■Slide mark In addition to M. Hailwood's No. 16 and S. Graham's No. 8 from the 1966 Isle of Man T.T. race, the slide mark also includes Nos. 1 and 7 from the 1967 race.
