Terrific purchase. Received in 3 days (from Japan). That's faster than in US!So happy with this lens. Super sharp and bright, great for night and interiors. For daytime and outdoors I use Only 12-40 2.8

★★★★★ A very good lens
Data de postagem : 25/08/PM |
Ordered both black and silver versions for my GX8 and GX7 and they work flawlessly. They give very good sharpness, contrast and clarity overall and have better build quality then my Leica 25 & 45. The only downside I have seen so far is a bit high in CA when shooting in the sun! Highly recommended for micro 4/3 users!!

★★★★★ Seller shipped expedited at no charge! Great lens, no stress about Warranty. Em5 mk2
Data de postagem : 4/08/AM |
I decided to "cheap out" and buy this international version, which doesn't have the Warranty and then, of course, shortly after receiving it, I let the lens roll off the bed and smack into my bed frame and dented the lens hood...Thankfully though, Panasonic makes a tough lens and the functionality and sharpness of the lens were unaffected. I've lugged this thing all over the country, took it onto planes, and let it bounce around in my bag while hiking. It can handle all of that and takes great wide-angle images! My M. Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f2.8 Pro gets much more use.

Really disappointing compared to the 25 mm Leica. Just wanted a great fixed lens but this one is overpriced for what you are getting.

★★★★★ Great optics, aperture ring inoperative on an Olympus camera

Compact lens and beautiful sharp pictures but if you have an Olympus camera the aperture ring is just to look pretty.

★★★★★ You gotta try it!
Data de postagem : 6/05/AM |
This lens is incredibly well built and is a pleasure to handle. Super sharp wide open and clinically sharp at f2.8. Autofocus is lightening fast, and manual focus is smooth as butter. I stopped using my penny 20mm f1.7 since I got this lens!

★★★★★ Great for lowlight!
Data de postagem : 29/03/AM |
This lens is nice! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The only reason I’m giving it a four stars is because there seems to be no image stabilization. But I bought it mostly for low light situations where I’m doing a sit down talking clip in my room. But other than that it’s awesome!!!

★★★★★ Excellent Quality!

Shipment took about a week but it was well worth the wait. Build, IQ and ergonomics are first class. I use this on my GM1 and EM-10.
