This product features the EF81 81 Rose Pink JR specification locomotive, characterized by its red No. 13 (commonly known as rose pink) body and silver decorations applied in various places.

It is recommended as a locomotive for the separately sold [10-853 Imperial Train No. 1 (Showa Era Specification)] and [10-2112/2114 E26 Series "Cassiopeia Cruise"/"Cassiopeia"]

This model reproduces EF81 locomotive No. 81 in its appearance after being restored to rose pink paint in 2014.The model replicates the body paint of Red No. 13 (rose pink), the glossy bogies, and the silver stripe on the sides.
The silver decorations applied to various parts, such as the handrails below the front windows, on both sides of the crew door, and the nameplate holder, are also reproduced.
The front conductor handrails and uncoupling levers are reproduced in silVer. The front wipers and side vertical bars are silver, and the H-rubber is black.
By attaching the separately sold [28-236 EF81 Imperial Train Specification Parts Set (Hobby Center Kato product)], it is possible to recreate the appearance when pulling an Imperial train.
A slotless motor is used to achieve smooth and quiet running performance.
