The N700 series 6000 series, an 8-car train that began operating as the "Kodama" on the Sanyo Shinkansen line, made its debut.

In addition to seeing the N700S and Doctor Yellow trains passing each other, one recommended way to enjoy this is to recreate the elevated and ground-level crossings and scenery along the line with the 225 series and 227 series trains and EF210-hauled freight trains that operate on the Sanyo Main Line, using dioramas and layouts.
